During those years he served as a combat medic and was stationed in Germany and Colorado working primarily alongside infantry and military police units.Upon returning to Rapid City, he enrolled with Black Hills State University and recently graduated with a degree in Business Management. During this time, he also obtained his Real Estate License and began work with the Rapid City Commercial Team.
