Background
Chris Long, SIOR, CCIM, is the owner and Commercial Broker of Rapid City Commercial, serving Rapid City, the Black Hills, and Western South Dakota. Since establishing the team in 2010, Chris has helped property owners, investors, and businesses navigate commercial sales, leasing, and investment opportunities across industrial, office, multifamily, hospitality, and development properties.
Chris began his career in Denver with The Meyers Group, where he led new development research and analyzed market trends. In 2003, he joined UDR, Inc., a national real estate investment trust, eventually serving as Director of Pricing and Revenue Management. There, he led the rollout of revenue management technology across more than 230 properties, building expertise in financial analysis, pricing strategy, and institutional real estate operations.
Chris combines this analytical background with hands-on brokerage experience to help clients evaluate opportunities and make informed decisions. Known for his responsiveness, he leads a collaborative team with expertise in sales, leasing, marketing, and transaction management. Rapid City Commercial operates as a commercial real estate team with Keller Williams Realty Black Hills and is part of the KW Commercial network.
