Greetings from the Rapid City Commercial Team! It’s amazing how time flies and we already find ourselves entering the third month of 2024. Coming off a record 2023 for our team, we haven’t seen the typical winter slowdown as temperatures remain in the 50's and businesses continue to grow and expand in Black Hills Region. As predicted, we're now experiencing the effects of the delayed construction activity and lack of speculative building with reduced inventory in the market, both on the sales and leasing side of the business. We continue to work with our development partners to best identify what those needs are making sure we get the necessary projects in the pipeline so it doesn’t become a long term hindrance to growth.
